What MyPois does

MyPois helps you save and organize personal points of interest. You can use it locally in your browser or connect it to your Google account.

Information we process

• Local mode: your places and settings are stored in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to MyPois.
• Google mode: Google Sign-In provides your basic profile information, such as your email address and name, so the app can identify your session. Your places are stored in the MyPois spreadsheet created in your Google Drive and are read or updated through Google APIs.
• Location and search: if you use location tools or place search, your browser location or search text is sent to the relevant OpenStreetMap services to provide the requested result.
• Shared links: if you create a public share link, the selected place data is sent to the app's hosting service so it can be displayed to anyone with the link. Do not include information you do not want to make public.

How information is used

Information is used only to provide the features you request: authentication, storage and synchronization of your collection, place search, map display, and optional public sharing. MyPois does not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Third-party services

MyPois relies on Google Identity Services, Google Drive and Google Sheets, OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, map tile providers, and (when sharing is enabled) the application's hosting provider. Those services process information under their own privacy policies and terms.

Retention and your choices

Local data remains until you clear it or remove the site data. Google-stored data remains in your Google Drive until you delete it. You can revoke MyPois access from your Google Account and sign out of the app. Public share links remain available until they are removed or expire according to the hosting configuration.
